My husband and I have been bitten by the old house bug too. We moved into our second 1930's cottage a little over a year ago, and I'm pretty sure all our friends (with their new open-concept houses) thought we were crazy for buying it. It needed/needs a lot of work, but between the painting and renovations and drafty windows and quirks we are making big plans for the future (we hope to never move again and therefore we need to add on). Despite it taking the majority of our extra time and money, we keep falling more in love with our house all the time. Please post pictures of your home projects!
