vera & chris are engaged!

i often find myself dreaming about all of the beautiful places around the world that i want to explore and experience- travel is wonderful and exciting and i’m really falling in love with it. but then fall arrives and there’s nowhere else i’d rather be than in the south. the leaves turn stunning shades of yellow and red and orange and somehow it seems the sun becomes a deeper golden as it hits the remaining green leaves still hanging on to their summer color. the skies seem almost teal against the drying foliage and the air smells sweet when i kick up the fallen leaves playing with my puppy in the back yard. i’ve mentioned it before, i know, but it’s rejuvenating and inspiring to me and spending a lovely fall afternoon by a creek with wonderful clients like vera & chris is pretty close to perfect for us. :) vera & chris are just as vibrant and sweet as their surroundings in these images and we were so happy to capture their love on such a perfect day!

vera & chris hike together often (they actually got engaged right by a waterfall) so they wanted to have their engagement photos in a beautiful, natural spot- preferably with a waterfall. :) this was just right:
