Harmony & Thanh’s Elopement at Kennesaw Mountain

atlanta elopement photography 17Photographing talented photographers is the best- I love it. But over the years, I’ve never covered another photographer’s elopement until last Friday. Harmony & Thanh’s elopement took place here in Atlanta (specifically Kennesaw Mt), and I couldn’t have been more honored to be a part of it. Even though there were only a few of us, the emotions and their affections toward each other couldn’t have been more grand. It rained but we didn’t care. If anything, the wet grass was a testament to the vows Harmony & Thanh had taken- that no matter the circumstance, love endures.

Photographing a talented photographer’s elopement, that’s the best. Here are a few favorites from their afternoon.

Mayuri & Jim’s Wedding at The Fox

By | Weddings | No Comments

Remember a couple weekends ago when the weather couldn’t be more perfect? That’s when Mayuri & Jim had the most personal wedding that represented them so well- true to who they are to their friends, to their families, and now to each other as a couple. The entire day was a perfect blend of hilarious and heartfelt moments, from their ceremony to toasts (Mayuri’s sister, Maitreyee had me laughing and tearing up at the same time..)

The Fox Theatre was a perfect venue for their wedding, here are just a few favorites.

Meet Baby Clover

By | Personal | 3 Comments

A couple weeks ago Kate and I met our new baby daughter, Clover. She’s perfect in every way and we can only dream of who she’ll become. Of all the pictures we’ve taken of her so far, these next 2 are my absolute favorite- but technically, they shouldn’t be. The lighting was terrible, they’re barely in focus, and it’s tough to tell whats going on. But that’s the very reason why I do like them, because that’s what it feels like to have a newborn- sitting on the sofa, trying to keep Clover from crying. I was able to capture the mood and the feeling- forget being technically correct, the moment was captured exactly as it was.
